Set over 17 big days, Brisbane's major international arts festival hits town in July. This event is only on every two years so be sure to catch some of the many cultural and artistic shows, performances and free community event on offer.

St. Gerorge Bank International Film Festival

Movie buffs come out of the wood work because it's your favourite time of year! The St. George Bank Brisbane International Film Festival is back in 2008 featuring a diverse range of films sure to appeal to just abot everyone. From world cinema and provoking documentaries shows world cinema and provoking documentaries to animation, short films and childrens films, BIFF is a celebration of all things film. Screening will again be held at The Regent, Palace Centri and the Australian Cinemateque. The festival program and tickets will be released in early July.
